Atari Missile Command

Atari Missile Command is an arcade classic from 1980. In this shooter game, the player controls three anti-missile batteries. The earth is under attack by alien creatures from the planet Kryto. The aim of the game is to protect the six cities against a deadly hail of missiles for as long as possible. The player can shoot down the enemy missiles by moving the crosshair into place and firing at the right moment. When a city is destroyed, the player can rebuild it by collecting enough points. However, when all cities are destroyed the player loses the game. The enemy attack will become increasingly intense and sophisticated, with more missiles and new weaponry.
