Mahjong Deluxe Plus is a single-player mahjong game. The aim is to clear all of the tiles from the table. The player can do this by combining two identical tiles. This is called a Meld. However, the player cannot just use any two tiles to make a Meld, because not all tiles are playable at the start of the round.
The player can only select tiles that are not jammed up against other tiles on both long sides. Playable tiles must be free along at least one long side, and cannot be covered – wholly or partially – by any other tile.
