Ice Queen is a fun platform game with puzzle elements. The player must help the prince or the princess travel through the snowy plains and the icy diamond mines. Along the way, they will meet several characters who are blocking the path or possess a special a key. Each of these characters is looking for a lost item. The player must find these items and trade them for keys and other useful items, or to make the character step aside to let the prince or princess pass.
The player’s character can use the ladders to climb, and drop down onto the platforms below. There are also some items that cannot be moved but will hurt the player’s characters if they step on them. Some of these items will change appearance and fade, such as spiny chestnuts that open and close. The player can wait until the item fades, and then quickly run past it. This way you can get past them without sustaining any damage.
